Dr. Belden Identified and characterized neurodevelopmental substrates of cognitive emotion regulation strategies during early childhood, and he examined biological and behavioral markers of unipolar and bipolar depression in preschool age children, Dr. Belden investigated neural and behavioral developmental processes associated with adaptive/maladaptive parenting strategies used by caregivers with healthy vs. mood disordered children.
