Dr. Liu is an associate professor of Department of Psychiatry, University of Illinois at Chicago, and he is also a distinguished professor of Central South University. Dr. Liu has published a total of more than 90 papers in SCI, cited 3600 times more, and a single reference is up to more than 400 times. H-index is up to 32. His research interests include the molecular basis of mental disorders and human behavior in the brain, the genetic and epigenetic regulatory networks of gene expression in the human brain and their relationship to human behavior and mental illness.
